Stacy's Pick of the Week: Hydration

This is my first "Pick of the Week"!

It wasn't difficult to choose, because I REALLY love this Hydrating Laminaria Oil by Spa Technologies.

I've been using Laminaria Oil all summer - in fact, it's been my oil of choice for most massages at Ocean Spa - but now that the season has changed and the weather is cooler and drier, it's an indispensable part of my at-home skincare routine too.

Why I love it:

- This organic formula contains 100% pure seaweed oil and spirulina extract that softens and fortifies the skin with essential fatty acids, minerals and antioxidants.

- It improves skin tone, hydration, and vitality...something especially important this time of year.

- The formula contains sunflower oil, which is great for dry sensitive skin, and is also known to soothe eczema and psoriasis.

- It contains Vitamin E and organic essential oils, including ylang ylang, geranium, bitter orange, rosemary, clary sage, and vetiver....so it smells amazing and refreshing too.

It's important to remember that your skin is the largest organ of your body, and what you put on your body also ends up IN your body. If you use products that contain harmful ingredients, such as harsh chemicals and artificial colors and fragrances, that stuff gets into your body, your blood and your lymphatic system. I can't imagine that's ideal...and so I try to avoid a lot of synthetic and chemically body products. Not all the time, though. I confess to loving some not-so-healthy scented lotions, because nobody's perfect all the time (except my mom).

Anyway...I do know that each morning when I apply this oil I'm doing something healthy for my body, and nourishing for my skin. I keep my oil in the shower, and I apply it sparingly to damp skin (after my shower). A little goes a long way. If I have time, I hang around and air dry, but if I'm in a hurry, I wait just a few seconds for the oil to soak in, and then I pat dry with a towel. It leaves my skin luminous, hydrated, and youthful.

So if you're dealing with dry or itchy skin this fall and winter, I do encourage you to try this all natural organic Hydrating Laminaria Oil. I use it. I love it.

We retail it at the Spa for $28 a bottle.

And then... you can always call me to book a Signature Massage featuring this favorite nourishing oil... You'll receive a relaxing and therapeutic massage AND a deeply hydrating skin treatment.

Oh....and remember to drink plenty of water too. Hydrate inside and out!!!

Warm Regards,

Stacy
